Indraprasth Sanjeevni NGO was established in year 2007 with a view of social services for senior citizens and children of needy and underprivileged families. It functions under the following guidelines :-
*Organize Free Health Camps in every locality for senior citizens.
*Distribute medicines , wheelchairs, hand sticks and jaipur footwear for polio patients.
*Organize seminars to educate people on women security.
*Organize educational and entertainment tours.
*Organize plantation drives to cultivate habit of growing trees to make environment pollution free.
Prevention of child labour and violence against women and children.
NGO is doing work in association with Election Commission of India and Delhi Police. It is registered with Central Jail where programs are conducted for the welfare of inmates of the prison.
NGO has received several Appreciation Awards for its commendable service from Delhi Police, Delhi District Magistrate, Central Jail, Rotary Club of India and Delhi Parks and Garden Society, Govt. Of Delhi.
NGO has Pioneer News Paper as its Media Partner. Chief Editor of Pioneer News Paper and M.P. Rajya Sabha Dr.Chandan Mitra is Chief Patron of Indraprasth Sanjeevni. Shri.Joginder Singh, Ex.Director C.B.I. and Shri.K.P.S.Gill, Ex.D.G.P.Punjab are also Patrons of the NGO. They keep guiding NGO and help the members to excel in their work. NGO has established 35 branches all over Delhi and has over 20,000 volunteers working in different ares.
